I hope you’re having a good weekend! :) So there’s an exciting update I want to share with you that made me wake up after just 6 hours of sleep ON THE WEEKEND and I couldn’t fall asleep anymore because I was so excited to get going ahaha (I’m actually sad about the lost sleep ugh) xD
Btw if anyone ever wants to read my texts in German as well please let me know because I could write an article in German too. I just don’t see the need if y’all are fine with this and it also wouldn’t be a word by word translation anyway. So I’d put in some effort to make it sound good of course. Just … writing every story twice might be a bit exhausting.
1) SO! First and quick thing is that I’ll try to be posting my art sketches as well, not just super elaborate drawings. I want to focus on learning how to sketch better so most things I draw on a daily basis are not colored because I don’t enjoy coloring much and it takes so long. Sooo the idea is to make a sketch collage about every week to show you what I’ve been doing. I couldn’t make it a habit to upload regularly on social media so this is the next try in making my lazy ass post more often. We’ll see how it goes!
2) A big project I’ve only told a few people about so far. It’ll be a challenge to make happen but it’s a big dream of mine so I really hope it works out! I’m working on a new website (mainly planning so far but I’ve laid the foundation stone already)! It will be something totally different than this place here so Tifa’s Page will definitely stay as my personal space!
If you’ve looked around here you’ve noticed that I enjoy adoptables (as in digital pets) a lot and since I’m good at hoarding (like any dragon should) I’ve collected a lot here and there on gaming websites. Just to name a few if you don’t know about these things: some of my favorites are Chicken Smoothie, Flight Rising, The Final Outpost, Dragon Cave and Poliwager. Does Flight Rising even count? Then I’d probably have to name Lorwolf as well but are those still adoptables? Ehhh, I don’t know. But you get the gist. Collecting digital pets = awesome.
I don’t let them down if I’m offline for a few days, they won’t get sad or die and it makes me happy to look at them. Plus, they don’t take up any actual space in my apartment or make it dirty. I love real animals, don’t get me wrong. But these are perfect even for busy or forgetful people :D
Since I’ve enjoyed using these sites for years already, the wish appeared to add something to this fun hobby. To maybe bring it to more people if they are interested. To spread the joy. I want to make a website similar to those I’ve mentioned! It’s quite exciting, especially because I’ve only been working with WordPress so far and that project will be different. Obviously I cannot promise to make fast progress or update often because this is still a hobby in addition to working full-time, drawing on a daily basis (that dream is bigger lol), gaming (!!) and lots of other things I keep myself busy with. My mind loves to be occupied and I’d rather it be with fun projects and new things than uhh … life?
The idea has been existing for a while and I’ve gotten another step closer over this weekend. This won’t be a way to make money because I’m tired of the hassle with taxes and all that. So it’ll just be a nice hobby project people can enjoy :)
If you’d be interested in eventually beta-testing, please let me know. It’ll take a LONG time until then but I’ll appreciate any feedback for sure.
Don’t feel obligated if you’d like to support but don’t enjoy these types of games. I’ll be happy about any hopeful cheers as well :D
