There were so many interesting things to learn! Not just how to use magic, but also about science in general, mythological creatures and which actually existed (more than you would believe! Often people just added a few cool features though or forgot about others) and important magicians, who sometimes didn’t even know they were using magic. Some lessons were mainly about how the world functions.
She was glad that the videos were automatically saved to one of her harddrives and she could rewatch them again to write down some of the most important facts that she considered good to know in case she would get into trouble (with fairies, gnomes or running late for an important meeting again).
So many useful facts and, as odd as it might sound, everything seemed to follow logical ways! Even though it was magic and that usually is seen as unexplainable.
The little notebook was always in her bag and she felt good knowing she was able to look everything up. Early they were told that there are many different types of magic, such as elemental magic involving her glass of water. She knew some of them already because of her love for fantasy games and the common use of magic like elemental, white, black and death magic. There were a lot more types to know though! Sometimes there were different names for the same group of magic or different people used another way of sorting them.
No matter what exactly it was called though, she especially loved the spell to add new pages to her notebook out of nowhere (well, not totally nowhere, but it was cool nonetheless!) and still keeping it the same size. So much space! It was just important not to use such things in front of other people. Magicians loved to appear mysterious and they probably wouldn’t like to see HER doing such things in public.

After this success, it was hard for her to think of something else. What would be able after some practice? Anything!
She kept on following the classes and even though they were held almost every evening she always made it in time. It was a bit sad that whenever she had a question about some details that none of the students were wondering about, she wasn’t able to ask it. That’s why she made the plan to check the magic library one day to see if she could clear things like this. A problem would probably be getting in the library in the first place… But she would certainly find a way.
She never had expected to find the class of magic anyway, let alone bugging it with microphones and cameras!Want to leave a comment? Click the entry’s link to open the comment box :) You can also click on “reply” if you would like to react to an exisiting comment. Thank you! -

For everyone who believes:
There is nothing you cannot achieve!
In every place, may it be big or small,
there can be found happiness for all.
No need for you to be afraid
– even though you might have to wait –
let there be hope and then it will appear –
MAGIC, everywhere, loud and clear!2 responses to “TDUMS 10/04/2015”

This was a typical Saturday night for little Stelly, Sternchen or simply Stella, a little girl with big dreams. Together with her parents she witnessed a magic show where a young magician performed amazing pieces of art, as you could call it best. Stella quickly learned that these were just “tricks” and no true magic, which made her sad. The other guests always started discussing after the show, wondering how the magician had actually tricked them. They DID enjoy it, but Stella would rather pretend all of this had been real magic, no hidden mirrors or something.
Today, her parents spent some time at the little “Magic Shop” that had been set up near the entrance and offered all kinds of books and little toys. Sternchen was bored and looked around in the hall. There were so many people who had also been fascinated by the show! One man was desperately searching for something in his pockets. Apparently, it must have been something to light the cigarette he held in his mouth. He didn’t seem to find anything and nobody else seemed to notice him even though the noises he made while searching had been rather loud, so thought Stella.
Suddenly, the man looked around carefully, not taking notice of Stella, held one hand around the cigarette and when he took it away again it was burning! No tools or anything to be seen.
Stella stared at him in amazement. Was there something like “true magic”? Unfortunately, right now her Mum and Dad were done at the shop and took her back home. She’d really liked to keep an eye on that weird man…Want to leave a comment?
