  • Design and Performance Updates, also Art Decision and General Thoughts

    There’s some new things on here :D
    Or rather, I have mainly removed things. Due to performance issues I got rid of all the plug-ins that are not needed anymore. Turns out, I would only have to uninstall a specific one but that’s okay. The less the better, I guess.
    Ever since yesterday TifasPage should be super fast again!
    (It actually has been on the frontend anyway but as soon as I logged in it switched to snail mode. LAME!)

    Today I’ve decided that I want to upload my art here as well (not only on social media). I had tried with the Inspirational Quotes (TIQ) for a while but I think there’s still some that I didn’t carry over from Instagram. The reason is that social media regularly frustrates and sometimes plainly annoys me to a point that I cannot take it anymore. My website should be a place to share my thoughts and works without comparing myself to others which ALWAYS ends up in disappointment. Do you know this feeling?

    While searching for a gallery (I ended up using the built-in WordPress one) I discovered that the WordPress.com feed function only worked for my website if I’ve already added the website to my “followed sites” in the past – the service simply cannot find my website anymore if I try to add it now. I also cannot see the stats in there.
    This is probably because I have uninstalled the Jetpack plug-in for a while since they have switched to a subscription model which I don’t want to support. That’s why I also edited the info on how to subscribe to TifasPage – follow.it and basically any RSS reader should work just fine. It also makes more sense in general because those support non-Wordpress sites as well.
    If anything causes problems with TifasPage, please let me know! I’d also love to hear RSS reader recommendations because the websites I like to see are kind of all over the place.

  • News! New Friend’s Site and also New Dark Mode Color

    Hey friends :)
    So I have found a new friend who has her own website and I added the link on my Friends page!
    If you have a website with a small “friend sites” list too, feel free to let me know ^-^

    I also changed the background color in dark mode because it was annoying the heck out of me. It was grey-ish but a bit too yellow / not blue-ish enough and – well, you know what I mean if you have seen enough websites in dark mode xD Compared to others, it made my eyes feel “ugh” and that’s not what I have it for.

  • Ich stelle vor: der Nachtmodus!

    Werdet ihr manchmal von Webseiten geradezu geblendet, weil ihr abends surft und eure Umgebung eher dunkel gehalten ist? D:

    Habt keine Angst! Ich habe einen Nachtmodus / Dunkelmodus hinzugefügt, der eure Augen schont :)
    Er lief die letzte Zeit schon in der Testphase, aber jetzt habe ich auch die letzte Hürde, nämlich die Tabellen, überwunden. Der Hintergrund ist nun auch hier komplett schwarz.

    Aktivieren könnt ihr den Nachtmodus über das kleine Mond-/Sonne-Symbol rechts unten in der Ecke.
    Leider funktioniert er nicht in allen Browsern (Microsoft Edge und Internet Explorer erkennen die Funktion nicht). Firefox und mobile Geräte müssten es aber hinbekommen :)

    Ich hoffe, der neue Nachtmodus gefällt euch ^-^

  • Ich präsentiere: Tifa’s Kalender!

    All of those events and bonusses (especially in Pokémon Go) started to confuse me and I found it hard to stay on top of things.

    So I decided to create a calendar which you can find right here:

    Aufgrund der vielen Events und Boni (insbesondere bei Pokémon Go) fiel es mir immer schwerer, direkt auf dem Schirm zu haben, was wann stattfindet oder wie lange ein Event noch läuft.

    Daher habe ich die Events ab Juli nun hier eingefügt:

  • Neugestaltung der Hauptseite

    Liebe Freunde,
    auf der Hauptseite sind jetzt die letzten Artikel zu finden! Das meiste, was vorher dort stand, habe ich auf die About me-Seite verschoben.
    Wie über den einzelnen Artikeln auf der Hauptseite auch die Kategorien und Tags angezeigt werden können, habe ich leider nicht herausgefunden.
    Aber so erkennt man doch gleich viel besser, worum es hier geht :)
